Trend alert -- the half updo

We've been seeing a lot of the half updo lately. That's where long hair is gathered up from ear to ear, leaving the back loose, and piled up on top, at the crown, or at the back.

This style is a great option for occasions where you want to look a little dressy, but you don't want to look uptight, too formal or like you're trying too hard. It's great for work and a date with someone special. We say, the looser and messier, the better.
